Have A Vision

How do you develop your vision? Meditate on what you would like to see yourself doing. This takes time. Also, try not to envision someone else. Envision yourself! No two people have the same fingerprints! So, why trace someone else when you can paint your own picture? Use those you admire, to point you in the right direction.

Next, Consistency and Self Discipline. These two go hand in hand. Every single day, chip away at that vision you have for yourself. Develop simple goals and stick to them. Revisit them, revise them, repeat!

Jerry Seinfeld is the most celebrated comic in the world. I read an article the other day, where he was quoted saying there was one thing he attributed his wealth and success to. Every single day, he wrote one joke. He was consistent. The joke didn’t have to be funny either.  His daily goal, one joke.

Grab a paper, pen, and jot down answers to these questions:

  1. What is the vision you have for yourself?

  2. What are your goals?

  3. What is your daily goal?

  4. How can you better develop your goal?

  5. What are the factors that keep you from meeting your goals or daily goals?

  6. How can you remove those factors that prevent you from meeting your goals?

  7. Jot down a date to revisit these questions

  8. Revise information

  9. Repeat

It is often said, “TO THINE OWNSELF BE TRUE”. Having a vision for yourself and working daily to develop that vision, will establish you to be a trailblazer and give you longevity. Tracing someone else isn’t as profitable or lasting as being your OWN unique you!

As Always,

Be Blessed & Bless Others
